Participant Reviews
Nattaporn S.
Chonburi · Programme One
"I have had a mutual fund account for eight years and I genuinely did not understand how the statements worked until I took this programme. I found the printed glossary particularly useful — I still refer to it when I get my quarterly statement."
April 2026
Kamon & Preecha P.
Pattaya · Programme Two
"My wife and I have been meaning to have a proper conversation about money for years. The conversation guide gave us a structure for it that we could follow at home without it turning into a disagreement. We used it again in March, just the two of us."
April 2026
Wanida C.
Rayong · Programme Three
"The credit map was the most useful single thing I have taken away from any financial education I have done. Seeing all my obligations on one page, in a format I could actually read, was quite sobering. The facilitator was direct without being alarming, which I appreciated."
March 2026
Thitiporn J.
Chonburi · Programme One
"I was slightly nervous about whether the pace would suit me — I have been away from anything financial since my forties began. It suited me well. The sessions were not rushed, and Pranee was willing to go back over anything that needed another pass."
May 2026
Suporn M.
Bangkok (weekend visitor) · Programme Two
"I came from Bangkok specifically for this workshop and brought my sister. For us, the most valuable part was the section of the guide on questions to ask about shared family obligations — we had never found a way to raise those before. Worth the trip."

Arthit R.
Sriracha · Programme Three
"I particularly valued the historical section — understanding how Thai household credit patterns have changed over the past fifteen years gave me a better frame for my own situation. Somchai is knowledgeable and did not talk down to the group."

A Closer Look at Three Experiences
Programme One — Funds and Indices
The Situation
Nattaporn had accumulated three separate fund accounts over eight years, opened at different times and through different banks. She received quarterly statements but had stopped reading them closely because the terminology confused her and she was not sure what she should be looking for.
During the Programme
Over four sessions, Nattaporn worked through the fund factsheet format used by Thai fund providers and the glossary of terms specific to the SEC's classification system. By session three, she was able to read her own statements in class and identify what the figures referred to.
Three Months On
She reported reading her quarterly statement with confidence for the first time and emailing a question to us about one figure that remained unclear. We were able to clarify it by return. She has since attended Programme Two with her husband.
Programme Three — Credit at 40+
The Situation
Arthit, 52, was carrying a home loan, two credit cards, and a personal loan taken out to assist an extended family member. He felt the overall picture was manageable but had not actually added up all the monthly obligations in one place or considered what the total interest cost looked like.
During the Programme
The credit map exercise in session three was, in his words, "quite sobering." Seeing the obligations laid out clearly — and understanding, from session two, what was typical for households in his income range — allowed him to assess the position with some context rather than just instinct.
The Outcome
Arthit did not make any dramatic changes; his position was not alarming once he could read it clearly. What changed was his approach to adding further credit commitments. He reported feeling better equipped to evaluate any future credit decision against a clearer picture of the whole.
